1 tree planted for every pair of glasses manufactured
For every pair of glasses manufactured, we're committed to planting one tree through the One Tree Planted project in Asia.
We recognise that with current technology, manufacturing glasses is intrinsically unsustainable, and we want to do what we can to minimise our carbon footprint.
We make our plastic frames using cellulose acetate.
Italian cellulose acetate is one of eyewear's most premium materials. Not only is it more durable, it's plant-based and non-petroleum-based. In comparison, mass-market frames are made of injection mould plastic, which is petroleum based.
We're just getting started. And we're working towards becoming a more responsible business.
